Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Guest Services Associate to process merchandise and fuel transactions and lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers. You will ensure accurate transactions and friendly service while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

You will promote products using touchpoints with guests, handle complaints per policy, and assist with travel center duties such as stocking, deli, showers, and restrooms. This role emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ability to lead a small cashier shift and complete end-of-shift reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide quality guest service and handle complaints per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one to two cashiers to process all cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow guidelines with regards to restricted merchandise items (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; resolve team member conflicts; and communicate issues to management.
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, coffee).
• Model behaviors that support company purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure compliance with rules, policies, and procedures.
