The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, completing check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest needs, and ensuring front desk duties are completed accurately and efficiently—all while providing exceptional customer service.

Agate Beach Inn is a148-room oceanfront hotel in Newport featuring Sea Glass Bistro & Lounge, an indoor pool, and extensive meeting space. We offer the stability of a nationally recognized brand with the personal atmosphere of a locally empowered team.

Responsibilities

• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel and upsells hotel rooms according to hotel standard procedures.
• Follows all guidelines in regardto guest service, including, bt not limited to check-in, reservations, check out, special requests and pre-registration
• Respond promptly to any guests’ inquiries or complaints in a friendly mannerand offer alternate solutions if guestdemand cannot be met
• Demonstrate commitment to servicing the guest by being hospitable and accommodating
• Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
