Job summary

First Light Resorts at Yosemite National Park is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to deliver warm, professional guest service at our lodge near Yosemite. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, handling reservations, and coordinating information for activities and local services.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to balance multiple guest requests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree a plus
• Minimum one-year prior work experience in Front Desk or other customer service; hospitality preferred
• Experience living/working in rural/remote environment preferred
• Experience with Property Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with respect, compassion, and the best in service
• Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills
• Assist guests with requests and/or complaints
• Maintain guest relations by providing information to visitors and arranging activities
• Maintain cleanliness standards in Recreation Areas
• Complete department/shift checklists and/or reports
• Communicate professionally with all staff and management
• Support team members and interns while fostering a positive work environment
• Work safely and follow safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
