Job summary

First Light Resorts seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead maintenance across a Yosemite-area lodge. You’ll fix mechanical systems, oversee buildings and grounds, and ensure a high standard of guest comfort.

We value hands-on skills, blueprints literacy, and safety discipline. Role involves scheduling staff, coordinating with departments, and occasionally serving as manager-on-duty in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree a plus.
• Extensive facilities management training and hospitality experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience living/working in rural/remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property, buildings, landscaping, and systems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage facilities staff: scheduling, training, and supervision.
• Oversee interiors, infrastructure, and repairs; support event setup.
• Develop vendor relationships; follow safety practices and instructions.
• Occasionally assume MOD responsibilities and provide exceptional service.
