The GSM reports to the General Manager and provides supervision, staffing, and schedule oversight, while handling guest inquiries and reservations.

The role emphasizes professional appearance, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑pace environment.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Experience in front desk or guest services roles.
• Ability to hire, train and coach Front Desk and Breakfast staff.
• Strong problem solving and guest complaint resolution skills.
• Excellent communication with guests and cross‑department teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Desk and Breakfast teams and support daily hotel operations.
• Greet and check in arriving guests and assist with reservations.
• Answer phone calls and handle guest inquiries with a service-first approach.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure timely, positive resolutions.
• Assist with cash deposits, reporting and shift leadership when Manager on Duty is unavailable.
