Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a Guest Services Manager for Camp Redwood Glen to oversee marketing, booking, coordination, and retention of guest groups. You will serve as the primary contact from inquiry through departure, ensuring a welcoming, well-organized, and consistent experience.

Responsibilities include managing inquiries and bookings, preparing FUAs, coordinating calendars and menus, supervising staff, supporting marketing efforts, and reviewing guest feedback to guide

Qualifications

• Experience in camp administration, leadership or related (3 years required).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of ACA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries and manage bookings and records in CampBrain or other software.
• Prepare Facilities Use Agreements, billing documents, and guest group paperwork; submit FUAs through TSAMM.
• Maintain the guest group calendar and communicate group needs to camp departments.
• Coordinate guest group logistics, including attendance, meals, programming, facilities, staffing, and services.
• Meet with group leaders and address guest needs and concerns.
• Coordinate facility readiness and group transitions with camp departments.
• Create and post staff schedules and support staff training, evaluation, and retention.
• Supervise Guest Service Team Members and provide direction as needed.
• Support marketing efforts to attract new groups and retain existing business.
• Collect and review guest feedback and share recommendations with camp leadership.
• Assist with updating guest service documents, procedures, and rental materials.
• Recommend Guest Services budget and equipment needs.
• Coordinate summer registration check-in and check-out and resolve paperwork issues.
