BEST Crowd Management's Guest Services team at the University of Wisconsin—Madison seeks friendly, reliable individuals to provide exceptional service and create memorable experiences for event attendees.

As a part-time staff member, you will greet guests, assist with setup, guide visitors to seating and facilities, respond to inquiries, support crowd management, and help ensure a safe, smooth event.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in customer service or events is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in activities.
• Reliable, punctual, with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist event attendees with their needs.
• Assist with event setup and signage.
• Monitor cleanliness and enforce venue policies.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and teams for smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety.
• Adhere to company policies and deliver service excellence.
