Job summary

Avera Walsh Family Village in Sioux Falls is seeking a PRN caregiver with the ability to work every third weekend and 1-2 shifts during the week (7:30am-2pm or 3pm-6pm). Weekend hours include Saturdays 8-4:30 and Sundays 12:30-4:30.

Responsibilities include maintaining a welcoming environment, guest check-in/out, and basic housekeeping and clerical tasks. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, and a preferred Associate's degree.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and neat environment in working area (guest rooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas, public spaces).
• Performs cleaning activities including dusting, washing, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Keeps areas stocked with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Handles guest reservations including registration and orientation.
• Assists guests with checkout and processes payments from guests (Medicaid if applicable).
• Interacts with guests within professional boundaries.
• Identifies guests' special needs and directs them to appropriate contacts.
• Manages referrals and waiting list for Walsh Family Village access.
• Accepts and documents donations following approved process.
• Enforces house policies as necessary.
• Provides clerical support, answers phones, processes billing as needed.
