Job summary

Jena Choctaw Pines is seeking a Cashier Host to provide fast, friendly, and accurate cash handling and seating for guests in the restaurant. You will greet guests, escort them to tables, and operate the POS system to receive payments and comps.

The role requires maintaining a clean, inviting area and responding to guest questions, with supervision as needed. The position emphasizes reliable cash handling, multitasking during rush periods, and adherence to casino policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume operation (Casino experience preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and Tribal Gaming Commission licensing.
• Tribal preference applies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and seat them at available tables.
• Operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Count revenues and balance cash registers, reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming cashier/host area and assist guests as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve concerns with supervisor support.
