Job summary

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure guest rooms meet our standards for cleanliness and comfort. You will work with the housekeeping team or independently to create a clean, relaxing environment and respond promptly to guest needs.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards. A positive attitude and flexibility for peak times are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning agents.
• Previous guest relations training is preferred.
• Compute basic arithmetic for room totals and inventories.
• Organized and detail oriented in room preparation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean/sanitize guest rooms by category priority.
• Perform duties in line with OSHA, HAZCOM, and Blood Borne Pathogens.
• Transport cart with supplies to assigned room and position securely.
• Service assigned guest rooms.
• Ensure presence of fire safety materials and guest room collateral.
• Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet and tablets/phone system.
• Return and restock cart at end of shift.
• Report damages or maintenance problems to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report suspicious activity and items left by guests to management.
• Turn over lost and found items to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Sign for keys in and out daily.
