Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Phoenix is seeking a diligent Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and assist with pre-registration and reservation blocking. You will post charges accurately, handle guest payments, and maintain smooth front desk operations.

You will work with reservation procedures, cancellations, and special requests, while staying knowledgeable about room rates and discounts to optimize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk operations and guest services.
• Ability to process payments accurately and securely.
• Familiarity with reservation and cancellation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly checking them in and out of the hotel.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Promptly, accurately post all charges.
• Know how to use Front Office computer or manual system for daily transactions.
• Manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Understand hotel rates, discounts and how to handle each.
