Job summary

Lowes Foods in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Front End Supervisor to supervise and provide every guest with the fastest and most pleasant checkout experience by consistently applying our Guest Service Standards. You will perform all functions related to sales and front-end assets.

You will oversee cash handling, balance daily cash, process invoices, monitor cashier performance, and ensure security of the cash office while maintaining schedules and guest-focused service.

• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front end operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cash handling and guest service to ensure fast checkout.
• Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation.
• Maintain sales related information and process invoices and transfers.
• Process beer and wine payments.
• Ensure security of the cash office and cashier tills.
• Monitor reports and perform cashier till audits and accuracy checks.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to support service levels.
• Process guest orders to uphold No Noticeable Wait policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
