Job summary

Houston Grand Hotel in River Oaks, Houston, TX, is seeking a part-time Bell/Luggage Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, explain hotel facilities, and keep the lobby and baggage areas clean. You may drive vans or cars as needed and help with airport transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions, knowledge of hotel service, local area events and activities.
• Ability to drive vans, limousines, and automobiles. Must have an excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Show guests to room and assist with their luggage.
• Explain hotel facilities, hours of operation, and answer questions.
• Check luggage for day and overnight guests; maintain lobby and baggage area cleanliness.
• Open doors and greet guests; post daily boards in the lobby.
• Deliver messages and valet to guest rooms; assist with airport pickups/drop-offs.
