Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a friendly Bellperson for our Hilton Short Hills property. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, explain hotel facilities, and keep the lobby area welcoming and orderly.

This temporary, part-time role requires flexible evenings, weekends and holidays, with English communication essential and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. You will work at a unionized property with staff perks and meal accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to meet standards of appearance and present yourself professionally.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs and assist guests in luggage handling.

Responsibilities

• Show guests to their room and assist with luggage.
• Explain hotel facilities, hours of operation, and answer questions.
• Check luggage for day and overnight guests.
• Maintain the lobby, bellstand, and baggage room in a clean, organized state.
• Open doors and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintain communication across shifts and stay available as scheduled.
• Adhere to attendance rules and work a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
