Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is hiring a Bell Attendant to join our Guest Services team. You’ll be the welcoming first impression, assisting guests with luggage and room details while sharing local recommendations.

The role requires flexible availability, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll support the Concierge and Front Office, and have the chance to earn gratuities in addition to the hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods and assist with luggage.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve as the face of the guest experience.
• Escort luggage and belongings to and from guest rooms with care.
• Answer guest inquiries and provide directions, recommendations, and reservations as needed.
• Assist Concierge during peak times or when they are away from the desk.

Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted, and their luggage & personal items are transported to and from guest rooms efficiently. Making sure that guests are comfortable with accommodations, and are familiar with room offerings & features, is essential. This highly visible role gives an opportunity for casual conversation, providing local recommendations, and indulging in special requests. Bell Attendants also assist the Concierge team before and after hours, and/or when they are away from the desk. This support includes answering guest inquiries, providing directions, and offering detailed recommendations or making reservations. They regularly share their knowledge of hotel services, local events and venues, and available transportation options.

The hourly rate offered for this position ranges from $22.50/hour to $23.50/hour.

• This position is eligible to receive additional compensation through gratuities, provided at the guest's discretion.
