Qualifications

• Interacts with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with hotel guests and other employees
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and employees.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handle luggage for check-in/check-out in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Open doors for guests and assist with unloading luggage.
• Deliver guest mail, messages, and packages.
• Assist with laundry and valet services; deliver packages and arrange rooms.
• Explain features of rooms and how to operate in-room electronics.
• Operate elevators and maintain company courtesy guidelines.
• Promote outstanding guest relations and perform duties as assigned.
