Job summary

Heritage Landing Golf Club in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a friendly attendant to assist guests with bag handling, club cleaning, and other outside services. You will help educate players about the game and start play when needed.

The role emphasizes courteous service, accurate rental-club records, and support for food and beverage activities, while following safe work practices and performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

• One month of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing and walking with outdoor/weather exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to guests with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Assist in educating players regarding the game.
• Direct start of play when necessary.
• Maintain records of golfers renting clubs.
• Serve customers renting clubs and clean returned clubs.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.
• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears.
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
