Job summary

Colony West Golf Club in Florida is seeking a friendly, reliable attendant to assist guests and members with outside services. You will help with clubhouse upkeep, bag handling, club cleaning, and range operations to ensure a positive experience on the course.

Responsibilities include preparing golf carts, assisting in tournaments, maintaining cart areas, and supporting food and beverage activities while upholding safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties
• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition
• Prepare golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf
• Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth
• Assist players by changing their golf spikes, if needed
• Perform range maintenance such as presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day
• May direct start of play
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs
• Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return
• Assist with food and beverage activities
• Clean golfers clubs upon completion of play
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as required
