Qualifications

• Entry-level position; preference for candidates with previous customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to operate a City vehicle if assigned; valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors to Abilene Zoo and answer general questions.
• Provide administrative support to Guest Service Managers and Assistants.
• Assist with guest inquiries, directions, and information on zoo functions.
• Process calls, payments, reservations, visitation paperwork, equipment operation, and food preparation.
• Maintain, inspect, clean, inventory, and follow policies for equipment and spaces.
• Assist with guest surveys and other reports.
• May operate a City vehicle or motorized equipment (trains, ATVs, golf carts).
• Perform other Guest Services duties as needed.
