Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking a Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) to be the essential face of the hotel and the primary contact for guests in Richmond, VA. You will handle front desk operations, guest relations, and support across departments to ensure an excellent guest experience.

The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication while coordinating reservations, safety procedures, and cross-functional tasks.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional Guest Relations: Provide an excellent guest experience by greeting guests warmly and assisting them; meet with guests regularly to gauge satisfaction, manage conflicts calmly, and maximize satisfaction.
• Front Desk Coordination: Coordinate check-ins, move-outs, renewals, reservations, property tours, and sales events; respond to guest service calls efficiently.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure building and occupant safety; respond to emergencies per procedure; inspect studios and public spaces daily.
• Accuracy & Documentation: Follow policies and document work activity in logs.
• Revenue Management: Execute lead management and complete sales/marketing objectives; review inventory to maximize studio revenue; follow revenue guidelines.
• Ancillary Sales: Maintain effective sales of ancillary offerings to meet guests’ needs.
• Essential Support: Perform laundry duties and general cleaning/maintenance of laundry facilities.
• Cross-Training: Cross-train on duties of non-management staff and perform as needed.
