Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking a Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) for the hotel front desk in Chesapeake, VA. The role is full-time and on-site, with hourly pay from $14.00 to $14.50.

You will be the hotel’s face, lead front desk operations, and drive guest satisfaction while coordinating with other departments. Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling check-ins and reservations, safety compliance, and revenue-focused activities.

Qualifications

• Provide an excellent guest experience by greeting guests warmly and offering assistance.
• Meet with and solicit comments from guests regularly to determine satisfaction.
• Respond to situations as they arise and manage guest conflict effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all front desk operations such as check-ins, move-outs, renewals, reservations, property tours, and sales events.
• Ensure safety of the building and occupants, contacting emergency services when needed and responding according to procedure in emergencies.
• Execute the lead management process and review Studio Inventory daily to maximize studio revenue.
• Maintain effective sales of ancillary offerings to maximize overall revenue.
• Perform Laundry Duties (sorting, washing, drying, and folding company linen and terry, plus general cleaning).
• Cross-train on duties of all non-management staff and stay on site for the entire shift with a 30-minute paid meal break.
