Job summary

Avantara North in Rapid City, SD is seeking Guest Services Aides to join our friendly, caring team. You will help residents with non-nursing needs, answer call lights, keep rooms clean, and support clinicians to uphold the high standard of care our residents expect.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with CPR certification.
• Experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Answer resident call lights and attend to non-nursing needs.
• Maintain clean and sanitized resident rooms and change linens as needed.
• Distribute meals and assist clinical staff as directed.
• Support residents to ensure a high standard of care.

As a Guest Services Aide you are instrumental in providing non-nursing related care to our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by answering resident call lights, attending to our resident’s non-nursing related needs, ensuring resident rooms and clean and sanitized, changing linens, distributing resident meals and assisting clinical staff. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and a C.P.R. Certification. One (1) year of experience in a Customer Service role is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
