Job summary

Avantara North is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our friendly, caring team dedicated to high standards of resident nutrition and safety.

You will help residents with meals, verify correct items for each dietary plan, monitor temperatures, and keep kitchens and equipment clean and sanitized. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferred, and we offer opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a 10th grade education is required.
• Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure correct items for each meal according to dietary needs.
• Record temperatures and ensure food safety and equipment cleanliness.
• Ensure kitchen and dietary equipment are cleaned and sanitized.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
