Job summary

Avantara Arrowhead is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Aide who must be available on weekends. You will help maintain cleanliness and infection control of residents’ linen and clothing, ensuring a steady supply of facility linen and timely delivery of laundry services within the skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience as Laundry Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident clothing and facility linen.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents' linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
