Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Guest Services Agent to warmly welcome guests, register arrivals, and assist with inquiries. You will manage front desk systems, handle reservations, and upsell rooms while ensuring security of guest information.

You’ll work with a hotel operations team to deliver Sonesta Service, meet performance goals, and support shifts across mornings and evenings. A positive guest experience and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service.
• Experience in the extended stay industry preferred.
• English fluency; other languages beneficial.
• Strong communication and numerical skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe certification may be required.
• TIPS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions and balance reports.
• Maintain the security of guest and payment information.
• Assist with reservations and upsell rooms when appropriate.
• Coordinate with shifts and departments to deliver Sonesta Service.
