Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to create memorable arrivals and departures for guests. You’ll work with the Front Office team to ensure a smooth check-in, check-out, and stay, delivering personalized hospitality across all guest interactions.

You’ll handle reservations, room assignments, billing inquiries, and guest requests with a proactive, service-driven mindset, using PMS/POS systems and keeping guest relations at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using PMS/POS and handling cash transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly during check-in and check-out and throughout the stay.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, billing inquiries, hotel information, and special requests.
• Process guest transactions accurately using PMS and POS systems.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and service requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and leadership to support operations.
• Support room inventory, upselling opportunities, and cross‑department communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation across Front Desk and lobby areas.
