Job summary

Highgate Hotels’ Courtyard Atlantic City location is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive guest service from check-in to checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The role requires handling guest inquiries, processing reservations, following cash handling policies, knowing rates and promotions, and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective communication and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest inquiries about restaurants, transportation, and entertainment.
• Follow cash handling and credit policies.
• Know rates, packages and promotions listed in the Red Book.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a courteous manner.
• Operate Front Desk computer system accurately.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork and reports.
• Maintain promotions and guest programs.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.
• Cross-train in other hotel areas.
