Job summary

The Ned NoMad, a sophisticated members' club and hotel in New York, seeks a Temporary Guest Services Agent to join the Front Office team. You will deliver exceptional service, handle guest inquiries, and support operations across the lobby and front desk with professionalism and independence.

Ideal candidates will have experience in hospitality, strong communication, and a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High-School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidential handling of information and guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly with a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver gracious hospitality.
• Handle guest inquiries and direct to appropriate departments.
• Know hotel services, membership options, hours, and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients and preparation techniques.
• Assist with Front Desk, Concierge and Reservations in PMS systems.
• Support package deliveries, Lost & Found, billing, availability, and service recoveries.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by Front Office leadership.
• Maintain flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
