Job summary

The Ned NoMad in New York City is seeking a part-time Concierge to support the Front Office and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will check guests in and out, handle requests, log information in our systems, and collaborate with departments to fulfill needs with accuracy and hospitality flair.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of hotel or related experience, strong organization and communication skills, and are comfortable working evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year hotel or related experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must maintain confidentiality of information and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creating a friendly, comfortable, and helpful atmosphere for guests and members that demonstrates the highest standards of hospitality.
• Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with colleagues and other departments.
• Possess knowledge of all hotel services, membership options, facilities, outlet operating hours and amenities.
• Checking guests in, ensuring they are assigned the type of room requested and taking preferences into account; setting up billing instructions and routing.
• Checking guests out, collecting keys, posting charges, and presenting the bill to the guest.
