Job summary

The Ned NoMad in New York City is seeking a Temporary Guest Services Agent to join our front office team. Reporting to the Director of Front Office, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional service to guests and members.

You will be responsible for answering calls, assisting guests, knowing hotel services, and supporting the Front Desk, Concierge, and Reservations teams with a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

• Six months’ hotel or related experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle problems, anticipate and solve issues.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answer all calls promptly with courtesy and professionalism.
• Create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for guests and members.
• Handle inquiries and direct guests to appropriate departments.
• Knowledge of hotel and club services, hours, and amenities.
• Be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, and allergy information.
• Assist with Front Desk, Concierge, and Reservations in the PMS.
• Support guests with packages, Lost & Found, billing, and service recoveries.
• Additional duties as assigned by Front Office leadership.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
