Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation’s Guest Services Agent will be the first point of contact for guests, registering arrivals, issuing keys, and guiding guests to services while upholding Sonesta’s standards.

The role requires fluent English, strong communication, and accuracy in handling transactions. You will support reservations, upsell where appropriate, and work with the Operations Manager to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
• ServSafe certification may be required; TIPS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and credit card transactions and maintain cash security.
• Assist with guest reservations and up-sell rooms when possible.
• Collaborate with hotel management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
