Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent to deliver Sonesta Service at the front desk, handling check-ins, information, and guest relations during shifts, and serving as the first point of contact for guests.

The role requires accurate cash and card processing, upselling rooms to maximize revenue, and coordinating with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. You must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions; post charges and balance tills.
• Maintain security of cash, cards, and guest data.
• Upsell rooms when appropriate to maximize revenue.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategies for pricing and length of stay.
• Collaborate with shifts and management to ensure service quality.
• Assist with shoppe and bar service; adhere to alcohol-service laws.
