Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to be the welcoming face of our boutique hotels. You’ll ensure guests receive outstanding service from arrival through departure, with a perma-smile and positive attitude.

Join a growing, dynamic team where you will handle front desk duties, assist with luggage, share knowledge about the hotel and local attractions, and help guests create memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months related experience preferred.
• Valid food handler and alcohol service cards (can be acquired after hire).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to interact with guests and team members politely.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rates and types of available rooms.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Be a reference for guests needing assistance or information, including transportation needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the hotel as well as surrounding areas, venues and attractions.

GUEST SERVICES AGENT

In addition to generally spreading joy, you’ll be ensuring guests are receiving great customer service from the time they exit their cab to entering their room and everything in between.

What To Expect

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rates and types of available rooms as well as responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Act as a point of reference for guests that require assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements. This includes their transportation needs.
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas, venues and attractions.

Your Experience And Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Possess a passion to provide excellent customer service.
