JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Guest Service Supervisor, you will lead and guide Guest Service associates to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. Assign tasks and instruct guest service agents. Observe performance and encourage improvement.
2. Respond to guest requests, needs, problems, and concerns; accommodate groups to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Implement company programs and supervise daily front desk operations to comply with SOPs and LSOPs, maximize revenue, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
4. Supervise Guest Service Associates.
5. Remain calm and alert during emergencies or busy periods, serving as a role model.
6. Resolve customer issues through thorough research and effective solutions.
7. Make decisions based on experience and good judgment, adjusting as needed for unusual situations.
8. Authorize revenue allowances after exploring other solutions.
9. Maintain regular attendance and be available for overnight shifts.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of guest service experience in a leadership role (preferred).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Patience, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with customers.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
• Knowledge of PMS systems (Lightspeed preferred).
