Food Service Supervisor

Location:

Forensic Treatment Center – South Campus, 5300 Arsenal St, St. Louis, MO 63139

Overview:

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - South provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are seeking a positive and energetic Food Service Supervisor with an interest in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Food Service Workers directly.
2. Create weekly work assignments and monitor progress.
3. Assist Food Service Workers as needed.
4. Oversee the preparation of hot food items and tray service in the cafeteria and carryout.
5. Complete all necessary paperwork related to quality assurance.
6. Understand specialized diets and food safety standards thoroughly.
7. Maintain sanitization standards and conduct routine walk-throughs to prepare for surveys.

Eligibility Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience or training in food service or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Completion of a 6-month probationary period.
• No disciplinary actions in the past 12 months (for Missouri applicants).
• Willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccination.
