Guest Services Supervisor, Full-Time

  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, welcoming them to the hotel.
  • Open vehicles and hotel doors; assist guests entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Ensure Door, Bell, and Valet load/unload and tag luggage, issuing claim tickets per department procedures.
  • Direct guests to hotel areas and local city destinations.
  • Manage smooth flow of driveway traffic, issue valet tickets, explain services, and coordinate valet parking staff.
  • Supervise driveway staff including Bell, Door, and Valet teams.
  • Train, coach, and provide feedback.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all cash handling, cashier, and billing procedures.
  • Provide accurate directions and general hotel information to guests.
  • Guide guests and delivery personnel to proper drop-off locations.
  • Clear driveway of hold vehicles prior to major events or as directed by management.
  • Ensure all staff follow proper payroll and break / lunch procedures.
  • Enforce adherence to departmental and hotel policies.
  • Assist, greet, and escort VIP and Special Attention guests.
  • Maintain a valid California driver’s license, free from traffic or substance-related violations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Hotel Assistant Managers.
  • Conduct standard tests with Guest Services staff to ensure knowledge and performance.
  • Complete tasks assigned by management.
  • Monitor daily arrivals and overnight valet vehicles; update valet parking lists.
  • Deliver / Delegate guest requested newspapers to rooms.
  • Walk / Delegate guest floors for shoeshine pick-up after 3:00 AM.
  • Restock / Delegate housekeeping items at front desk and Bell Closet.
  • Dispose of front desk and Bell Closet trash, cardboard, and water jugs at the loading dock.
  • Maintain Inventory and Restock tickets, luggage tags, and bottled water.
  • Maintain / Delegate the house car clean and fueled, as needed.
  • Attend resume meetings to plan for front drive requests.
  • Communicate with residents about garage and parking matters.
  • Work with Engineering on front drive-related issues.
  • Review and act on LQA/Medallia guest satisfaction scores for improvement.
  • Learn and execute glitch reporting and recovery, as needed.
  • Cover shifts and callouts as needed.
  • Ensure Lucid vehicles are clean, fully charged, and showroom ready at all times.
  • Delegate front drive cleaning every two hours or during peak times to maintain presentation standards.
  • Create and submit weekly schedule for approval by Thursday morning.
  • Obtain attestation signed form as needed for accurate payroll.
