Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) is hiring at its Dana Point location. The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest service at the pump and counter, handling POS transactions, and maintaining cashier accuracy while upholding CSI procedures.

You will prepare food and beverages, monitor stock, promote store specials, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment. The position supports flexible hours and various shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and instructions.
• Available to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates (in locations where required).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service; greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each shift end.
• Perform station cleaning of indoor/outdoor facilities and restrooms.
• Prepare food and beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC offerings to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check delivered goods for accuracy.
• Distribute goods; keep shelves full in retail and cooler areas.
• Observe local laws when fueling vehicles (as applicable).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
