Job summary

Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI) in Carlsbad, CA is hiring for a fast-paced guest-facing role. You will provide friendly, accurate service at the point of sale, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety and food-handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

You will work with vendors and team members across shifts, handle multiple tasks, and uphold CSI standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and safe operation of food and beverage stations.

Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies, safety training, and job instructions, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Available to work varied hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise good judgement.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service, greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Accurately conduct point-of-sale activities with multiple payment forms.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at shift end.
• Clean indoor and outdoor facilities including restrooms, pumps, and car wash if applicable.
• Prepare food and beverages, manage ExtraMile/KKC foodservice to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy.
• Distribute delivered goods and keep shelves stocked in store and coolers.
