Job summary

Temecula Creek Inn is seeking a part-time reservations and guest services associate to warmly greet arriving guests, assist with seating, and manage restaurant/IRB orders. You will communicate menu details and resort events, ensuring accurate reservations and smooth service.

The role requires high school diploma and English fluency, with prior hotel restaurant experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure, lift light weights, and maintain professional etiquette is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; English fluency required.
• Previous hotel restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with proper etiquette of seating and salutations; knowledge of business phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Be aware of current house count, VIPs, and hotel functions to provide personalized service.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service in person or by phone, including making reservations, greeting and seating guests, taking IRD/To Go orders, and answering information about the restaurant and hotel.
• Communicate detailed menu information and resort events to guests.
• Make daily/nightly insertions to menus and return them to storage after shift.
• Manage guest seating to ensure smooth, timely service; ensure tables are set for reservations.
• Assign servers to stations.
• Handle credit card and gift card transactions per policy.
• Follow safety rules and attend mandatory meetings; cross-train as directed.
