Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring a Guest Services Representative in Springfield, MA. You will be the first contact for guests, delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment and ensuring a welcoming, efficient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years in a relevant, high-volume call center or customer service setting. The schedule is part-time overnight, Tuesday through Thursday, 6pm–2:45am, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls courteously, efficiently and enthusiastically.
• Provide dispatch services for guest requests (luggage, room service, housekeeping, wake‑up calls, checkouts, etc.).
• Enter data for requested services and inform guests of property functions.
• Maintain records and dispatch bell and limo runs per policies.
• Know menu items and suggest additional items; operate beeper and TDD machines.
• Provide management with observations to improve processes.

THE JOB:

Are you passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and making a lasting impression? As a Guest Services Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering outstanding service and ensuring every interaction is welcoming, efficient, and memorable.

THE STARTING RATE:

$15.75 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous, efficient and enthusiastic manner as outlined by Company and Departmental, standards while maintaining composure and tact throughout high volume of repetitive customer, coworker, and intra-department interactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide dispatch services for guest requests related to luggage assistance, room service orders, housekeeping amenities, wake-up calls, check outs, early arrivals and late departures, messages, paging, long distance assistance and other special services requested by guests or administrative personnel.
• Perform data entry for requested services in housekeeping, front desk, bell, limo, facilities and room serviceInform guests of property functions and facilities upon request.
• Maintain accurate records for all requestsDispatch bell and limo runs in accordance with front service department policies and procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all room service menu items, recommend or suggest additional food items.
• Operate the beeper system and operate the TDD machine
• Provide management with important observations gathered from customer interactions offering suggestions to improve process, product or service offerings

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has an High School Diploma or GED
• Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experience is required
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume call center or relevant customer service experience is preferred
• Able and willing to work a Part-Time, overnight schedule: Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm - 2:45am including holidays

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:
$15.75

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

The estimated annual commission this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $100.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
