Responsibilities

• Handle calls courteously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide dispatch services for guest requests (luggage, room service, housekeeping, wake-up calls, check-outs, etc).
• Enter data for requested services in various departments.
• Inform guests about property functions and facilities on request.
• Maintain records for all requests and dispatch bell/limo runs according to policies.
• Know all room service menu items and suggest additional items.
• Operate beeper system and TDD machine; relay observations to management.

THE JOB:

THE STARTING RATE:

$15.75 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls in a courteous, efficient and enthusiastic manner as outlined by Company and Departmental, standards while maintaining composure and tact throughout high volume of repetitive customer, coworker, and intra-department interactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide dispatch services for guest requests related to luggage assistance, room service orders, housekeeping amenities, wake-up calls, check outs, early arrivals and late departures, messages, paging, long distance assistance and other special services requested by guests or administrative personnel.
• Perform data entry for requested services in housekeeping, front desk, bell, limo, facilities and room serviceInform guests of property functions and facilities upon request.
• Maintain accurate records for all requestsDispatch bell and limo runs in accordance with front service department policies and procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all room service menu items, recommend or suggest additional food items.
• Operate the beeper system and operate the TDD machineProvide management with important observations gathered from customer interactions offering suggestions to improve process, product or service offerings

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has an High School Diploma or GED
• Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experienceis required
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume call center or relevant customer service experience is preferred
• Able and willing to work a Part-Time, overnight schedule: Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm - 2:45am including holidays

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$15.75

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

The estimated annual commission this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is:$0 - $100.

Paywill not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
