Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando/UCF Area is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join the Front Desk team. This on-site role offers full-time hours with flexible shifts (7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, occasional 11pm–7am) in a hotel near UCF, within a Buffalo Lodging Associates managed portfolio.

You will greet guests, manage check-in/out, handle payments, and assist with reservations. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and driving license are preferred, with prior hotel guest service experience a

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, Word, and Excel is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out using the Property Management System.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and goods at the property.
• Identify guest needs and provide information about hotel services and amenities; respond to requests promptly.
• Take reservations from callers and input/update information in the hotel management system.

We are currently looking for Guest Service Representative to join our Front Desk Team! Our Homewood Suites by Hilton is located one mile from the University of Central Florida main entrance and campus, We are also close to the Central Florida Research Park. Concerts at Addition Arena, and UCF football at FBC Mortgage Stadium are within three miles. Shops and restaurants at Waterford Lakes Town Center are a 10-minute drive. We offer 99 comfortable and spacious suites for our guests and a daily complimentary breakfast and Wednesday night reception. The Homewood Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Guest Services Representative/Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:

Full time - . Flexibility to work different shifts is needed - morning shift 7am to 3pm, afternoon/night shift 3pm to 11pm and willing to work occasional Night Audit Shift 11pm to 7am (there is a pay differential for Night Audit shift)

• Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
