Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas is seeking a Part Time Banquet Server to join our events team. You will assist with food and beverage service and coordinate banquet events, including set-up and teamwork to meet hotel standards.

Applicants should have previous banquet or serving experience, be 18+, and hold current Food Handlers and Tips/SMART Card Permits. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or serving experience preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have current Food Handlers and Tips/SMART Card Permits.
• Minimum of 1+ years banquet server experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality guest service and comfort by monitoring the area continuously.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
• Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.

The Banquet Server is responsible for assisting with food and beverage service and coordination of overall banquet events. This includes set-up, working on a team, communicating effectively with others, maintaining the hotel standards and service of guests.

Duties:

• Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments
• Maintain health and sanitation standards
