Job summary

Running Aces Casino in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a Guest Service Representative for a seasonal part-time role on the 2nd shift, weekends and events. You will engage guests, provide friendly service, handle calls, and assist with merchandise at the front desk.

Requirements include strong communication, reliability, ability to use Word/Excel/Outlook, cash handling, and flexibility for varying hours. On-site position with 20–25 hours per week; benefits available and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be approachable, dependable, reliable, pleasant and professional.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate computers including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Available for varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of Bravo and Micros is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of current promotions and activities.

HIRING FOR A SEASONAL PART TIME POSITION!

• Location: On-site, Running Aces Casino - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025
• Schedule: Part time ( 20-25 hours per week) 2nd shift, weekend and other events when needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the first line interaction with guests of Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack on a daily basis.
• Responsible for providing excellent Customer Service by having a "Can Do" and friendly attitude.
• Answering all incoming phone calls with a pleasant and professional manner , answering questions or directing calls accordingly.
• Monitor all materials that are available to the public to ensure that information is current and monitor the supply for ongoing needs and inventory.
• Assist guests with concerns, questions, and inquiries.
• Get to know our top players and guests and build rapport with them daily.
• Sale of merchandise, general medications and other supplies. Check for valid identification with every tobacco purchase.
• Daily review of the merchandise presentation and inventory to ensure there are adequate items for sale to the guests.
• Take pride of ownership of the Aces Rewards Front Desk by keeping a clean and tidy work environment.
• Monitoring the Front Desk and Lobby to ensure the area is clean and kept up.
• Understanding the resources available to you as a Team Member.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be approachable, dependable, reliable, pleasant, positive and professional with a strong ability to work with other team members, good listening skills, patient and friendly.
• Knowledge of current events, promotions, and activities.
• Ability to handle guest issues in a friendly and "Can Do" attitude, seek the answer from other areas if you are unable to answer the specific question and/or concern, and promptly respond to the guest.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to operate computers including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and word processing.
• Ability to work with numbers and cash handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available for varying shifts and days, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of the Bravo and Micros system a plus but not a requirement.
