Base pay range

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and confirm room reservations via letter, telephone, email, or in person.
• Register and assign rooms to guests, issue keys, and escort guests as needed.
• Ensure only authorized patrons use government-sponsored quarters.
• Calculate, post charges, and reconcile patron accounts.
• Accept payments, give change, and handle checkout procedures.
• Prepare and safeguard cash receipts and daily reports.
• Maintain current checkout lists and sell sundry items.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Gather and enter guest information into the system.
• Print reports from property management system.
• Update housekeeping status and notify maintenance of issues reported by guests.
• Keep front desk and lobby clean.
• Perform Night Audit procedures and close credit card transactions nightly.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

This position requires successful completion of a background check and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Open to all applicants. Eligibility is determined based on the questionnaire and proof of eligibility. Experience in clerical or cashier work demonstrating customer service skills is required. Education cannot be substituted for experience. Foreign education credentials must be verified as equivalent to U.S. standards.
