We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Associate Representative to join the Cigna underwriting team as a Phone Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and complete medical questionnaires with applicants in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively to gather required information and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain call metrics, including audits, regular attendance, and the average number of completed calls.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and insurance professionals to support verification processes.
  • Utilize multiple systems such as OnBase, LifePro, Verint, Finesse, Salesforce/KnowledgeXchange to perform job duties effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish candidates are preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of call center experience preferred.
  • Prior insurance experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured environment.

Work Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a quiet and private space designated for focused work.
  • High-speed internet is required for remote work.
  • Hours will vary between 7 AM – 7 PM CST, based on business needs.
