Job summary

Hyatt Place Flushing/ LaGuardia Airport is seeking a Guest Service Agent (Host) to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a busy hotel environment.

You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, handle inquiries, and coordinate guest requests while maintaining a clean, welcoming space. Previous guest service and food/beverage exposure are a plus. Join an international, supportive team with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cash handling experience is required.
• Must have schedule flexibility for AM/PM/Overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English include speaking, reading and writing; Chinese is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve and pour alcohol in New York.
• Basic computer skills with common office software.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, verify details and balance cash drawer.
• Provide information to guests, coordinate special requests, and upsell services.
• Answer hotel phones courteously following Hyatt Place standards.
• Prepare and stock beverages and food items, operate the POS system.
• Serve guests in a friendly, timely manner and maintain a clean, welcoming area.
• Follow hotel policies on safety, cash handling and guest service excellence.
