Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a friendly cashier to greet guests, take orders, and handle payments in a fast-paced quick-service environment. You will ensure accurate and timely service while maintaining a clean, organized counter area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience, with on-the-job training provided. Candidates must be reliable, customer-focused, and able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to receive money and accurately count back change.
• Practices adequate security measures in cash handling and maintaining a cash drawer.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers with a smile and welcoming attitude.
• Takes and fills orders within service time guidelines.
• Handles money and delivers orders to customers.
• Addresses and notifies management of any customer service issues or complaints.
• Counts cash at the end of shift and ensures drawer accuracy.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper display of products and rotates stock as needed.
