Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Front End Cashier/Guest Service Clerk to deliver a fast and friendly checkout experience by executing Lowes Foods’ Guest Service Standards. The role covers sales, cash handling, and basic cash office functions.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, cash handling, cash office security, tills audits, and maintaining daily front-end schedules to ensure high guest service levels throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Sales, Cash and Invoice Accounting: Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation; Maintain sales related information; Process invoices and transfers as assigned; Process beer/wine payments.
• Cash Related Activities: Prepare bank deposits; Handle cashier support activities; Payroll check approval/cashing; Ensure accurate daily cash count; Process guest needs (money orders, stamps, lottery); Handle returned checks.
• Cash Office Security: Ensure security of cash office and store funds; Maintain cashier tills accountability; Maintain needed front end and cash office supplies.
• Cashier/Guest Service Clerk Performance Reports: Monitor Operator Activity Report; Conduct surprise till audits and accuracy checks; Maintain daily front-end schedule for guest service.
• Process guest orders to ensure No Noticeable Wait policy is followed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
