Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Guest Service Representative to support front-desk operations, assist guests, and process reservations. This role involves providing courteous service, handling payments, and promoting hotel services to maximize revenue.

The position may require weekend or holiday shifts and on-site work at our Florida property. Prior guest-service experience is valued, and strong communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous guest-service, reservations, or guest-relations experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, register, and check out guests while protecting information.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and loyalty program.
• Answer calls with accurate information about services, rates, and area.
• Operate PMS to post charges, prepare bills, collect payments, and balance.
• Verify payment methods and reconcile end of shift transactions.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and future reservations.
• Identify sales opportunities and share leads with team.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and document recovery efforts.
• Communicate special requests and maintenance needs across teams.
• Maintain clean lobby, market, dining, and front-desk areas.
• Follow privacy, safety, cash-handling, and emergency procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed.
